Jes Zange’s interest in the arts began at a young age. Being inspired by creatives her whole life she decided to pursue a degree in fine art and received her BFA in Studio Art in 2009 . It would take another seven years for Jes to discover fiber arts. Since then she has established herself as an original textile artist, producing woven wall art for clients across the country. Jes draws inspiration from her daily surroundings as well as her love for fashion and the vibrancy of the natural world.
“I have always been a keen observer of my surroundings. I love my process because it allows me to take the colors and textures I see out in the world and make them home again in my work.”
Jes is self taught and continues to explore a wide variety of fiber art methods. She produces commissioned artwork for clients locally and nationwide, with recycled and locally sourced materials, from her home studio in Milwaukee, WI.
